This publication contains a compilation of selected cases which illustrate the broad range of achievements of the Springboard Atlantic Commercialization Network and its 19 university and college members, 2008-2011.
These cases represent the outcomes of real projects undertaken as part of Springboard’s collaborative programs and activities. The articles highlight the types of initiatives, partnerships and accomplishments of which Springboard members are particularly proud.
In addition, the content underlines how Springboard works to create commercial value - through the leadership of industry liaison managers, investigators, students and business executives working together to foster innovations that enrich our communities and benefit the Atlantic region.
In the years to come we will look back at these cases in order to comprehend and celebrate the origins of our successes.
